Double Trouble - Otis Rush. Cobra Records was a small, but very influential, independent blues label based in Chicago. It was only active for few years in the late 1950 but it released some great material, including the early Magic Sam and Otis Rush recordings. As one example of Cobra Records' influence, the track I Can't Quit You Baby which Led Zeppelin covered on Led Zeppelin 1 was an Otis Rush composition originally recorded on Cobra Records. This is a very good sampler of Cobra Records releases between 1956-1959.
