Herb Ellis Concord Jazz Heritage (Series) Laurindo Almeida The . I first heard Herb Ellis on an Lp when he played at the first Concord Jazz Festival. He was playing with Joe Pass, Ray Brown, & Jake Hanna. The announcer said something to the effect of "get ready for some great guitar interplay.

Ernestine Anderson made a full comeback during her Concord years after a long period of neglect. including "Don't Get Around Much Anymore" (from her breakthrough appearance at the 1976 Concord Jazz Festival), "As Long As I Live," "Please Send Me Someone to Love," and an extended remake version of "Never Make Your Move Too.

Montgomery Bernard "Monty" Alexander (6 June 1944, Kingston, Jamaica) is a jazz pianist who sings and plays the melodica. His playing has a Caribbean influence and bright swinging feeling, with a strong vocabulary of bebop and soulful blues melodies. He was influenced by Oscar Peterson, Erroll Garner, Les McCann, Ahmad Jamal, and Wynton Kelly.
