Fantastic album. I think this one sneaked under the radar for a few people and I can't believe this has only just seen the light of day. You can't help get that feeling that an album like this wasn't released for a reason, like not being very good! But in terms of quality, on first listen, for me, this album was more immediate than the last Charlatans album and Tim's other solo stuff for me. I'm glad I snagged a copy of this album because it's going to become very collectible in the future, and not in the manufactured bullshit way you get with some RSD releases. This album is what RSD should be all about, unreleased material on one formant, and it's a great album. Now one of my all time fave RSD releases. Up there with Stephen Malkmus's Can, Ege Bamyasi cover LP a few years back.
