Happy Mondays are an English rock band formed in Salford in 1980. The band's original line-up was Shaun Ryder (vocals), his brother Paul Ryder (bass), Mark Day (guitar), Paul Davis (keyboard), and Gary Whelan (drums). Mark "Bez" Berry later joined the band onstage as a. Rowetta joined the band as a guest vocalist in 1990.

Happy Mondays are an alternative rock band formed in Salford, Greater Manchester, . in 1985, notable for being a forerunner of the immensely popular neo-psychedelic indie dance movement (known as 'madchester' for some groups) that mashed up funk, pop, rock, and other genres. Still touring to this day, the band is fronted by Shaun Ryder, who formed the band with his bass-playing brother Paul Ryder.

Instead of relying strictly on the studio arrangements, Happy Mondays open up their grooves and play some new songs. It's an intriguing album, especially for dedicated fans, but it's not as convincing as Pills 'n' Thrills or Bummed.

Thanks to Absolute Radio (Repost) Happy Mondays released Pills ‘n’ Thrills and Bellyaches on this day in 1990.
