Frost is the second studio album by Norwegian heavy metal band Enslaved. It was released in 1994, through Osmose Productions. This would be the last album to feature drummer Trym Torson before he joined Emperor. The band announced that they would play Frost in its entirety at the 2019 Decibel Metal & Beer Fest in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Norwegian heroes Enslaved submitted this third full length album in 1997, long after the ashes of the churches were cold and Euronymous was long dead. Many of the founding Norwegian bands began to find substantial commercial success in their craft - the criminal activity was no longer necessary. All that was left to do was to expand and progress the genre. Throughout their formative years, Enslaved always leaned towards the more progressive side of black metal, and their junior effort Eld is no exception.

Among the countless bands who were inspired by Bathory's seminal Viking metal, arguably none were as true to its gospel as Norway's Enslaved, whose utmost commitment even extended to donning vintage Norse armor and outfits on-stage (see cover art for proof).
