Vassily Primakov (born 1979 in Moscow, Russia) is an award-winning Russian concert pianist and recording artist known for his interpretations of Chopin. His first piano studies were with his mother, Marina Primakova. He entered Moscow's Central Special Music School at the age of eleven as a pupil of Vera Gornostaeva, and at 17 came to New York to pursue studies at the Juilliard School with the noted pianist, Jerome Lowenthal.

Vassily Primakov (born in Moscow, Russia) is an award-winning Russian concert pianist and recording artist known for his interpretations of Chopin. Primakov began studies at Moscow’s Central Special Music School at age eleven as a pupil of Vera Gornostayeva. He then attended the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara and the Juilliard School in New York, where he studied under Jerome Lowenthal.
