Zapp is the debut studio album by the American funk band Zapp, released on July 28, 1980 by Warner Bros. The album's style was highly similar to c, as the band was working with and being mentored by both Parliament members William Earl "Bootsy" Collins and George Clinton during the album's production. The album was produced by Zapp frontman Roger Troutman and Bootsy. The Troutman family of the Zapp band had close ties with the Collins family, both being Ohio natives  . Living for the City".

Compilation: Greatest Hits, Vol. 2 & More collects Zapp's lesser-known singles and album tracks like "Play Some Blues" and "It Doesn't Really Matter," adding four rare songs from Roger Troutman, including the then-newly recorded cover of Stevie Wonder's "Living for the City" and his contributions to the soundtrack of A Thin Line Between Love and Hate. Though there aren't any hits on Greatest Hits 2, the album does a good job of collecting all of the highlights from Zapp's frequently uneven albums.
