Former Ladies of the Supremes. The Former Ladies of the Supremes, or FLOS (now Scherrie and Susaye, Formerly of the Supremes), is a singing group that was originally formed by former Supremes members Jean Terrell, Cindy Birdsong and Scherrie Payne, in 1986. Though they weren't Supremes members, singers Sundray Tucker, Freddi Poole and Joyce Vincent have also sung with the group.

The Supremes is a 2000 box set compilation of the material by Motown's most popular act of the 1960s, The Supremes. The set covers The Supremes' entire recording history, from its first recordings as The Primettes in 1960 to its final recordings in 1976. The set is four compact discs long; a bonus disc, An Evening with The Supremes, contained mostly unreleased live recordings and was included in the first 25,000 sets.

This is a complete listing of all of The Supremes' singles and albums. Described as 'one of the most successful groups of all time' by Billboard; 33 of their singles reached the Billboard Top 40 in the US, 23 reached either the US or UK Top 10. The Supremes are the most successful American group on the US Billboard Hot 100 with 12 number-one peaks, whilst "Baby Love" topped the UK Singles Chart. 12 of their albums reached the Top 10 in either the US or UK, with five of them reaching number-one.

As a new Supreme in an era when their popularity was waning, Scherrie often remained quiet during interviews with the group (mainly because four years later, reporters were still asking about Diana Ross). When she arrived, original Supreme Mary Wilson and 1960s Supreme Cindy Birdsong were the other two members of the group. Motown decided to officially retire The Supremes. In 1979, Susaye and Scherrie recorded an album called "Partners" together on the Motown label under the name "Scherrie and Susaye. In 1986, Scherrie joined former Supremes Jean Terrell (and briefly Cindy Birdsong) to form The Former Ladies Of The Supremes (or FLOS). When Cindy left to pursue an acting career, Lynda Laurence took her place and they renamed themselves "Jean, Scherrie & Lynda of the Supremes.

Even their "other" group name, "Former Ladies of The Supremes," doesn't fully apply, since Poole is not a former Supreme. Lynda's vocals appear on one Motown-released Supremes album & additional single ("Bad Weather"). She has probably contributed far more vocally to Stevie Wonder's recordings as a former member of his backup group, "Wonderlove" (yes, that's her wailing on Stevie's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered") than her official time as a Supreme (. years)

Former members of the Supremes - but not, it should certainly be pointed out, Diana Ross, Mary Wilson or the late Florence Ballard - are featured on this anthology of lackluster faux-Motown tracks; for completists only. 3.
