Satyricon's sound has evolved far beyond Nemesis Divina over the last 20 years. What stands out the most when you go back and listen to the album? The album feels very ferocious, driven and wild. I sense the hunger we had as musicians 20 years ago, and I hear that there is more power than control. We were determined to have a visually very striking and unconventional cover, as befitted Satyricon and the album Nemesis Divina. The fiery and earthy colour tones are fantastic. Are there any plans to perform Nemesis Divina in full on tour or special one-off shows?

Tracklist: 00:00 - "The Dawn of a New Age" 07:27 - "Forhekset" 11:59 - "Mother North" 18:25 - "Du som hater Gud" 22:46 - "Immortality Passion" 31:09 - "Nemesis Divina" 38:04 - "Transcendental Requiem of Slaves". Recorded at Waterfall Studios, January-February 1996. Mastered at Bel Productions. A coloured black metal cover, wich isn't even in somber purple? I'm confuse. This album isn't actually that good or raw compared to Dark Medieval Times, that, my friends, is a real dark metal album. I love purple, yet this cover goes very well with the album's content. I was astonished listening the passage "when I mesmerize".

Nemesis Divina" was the first Satyricon album I had ever heard. I specifically remember seeing the music video for "Mother North" and thought it was slightly strange. This album is often viewed as one of the greatest, most innovative black metal albums ever crafted, and I definitely agree. However, two years after this, Satyricon's musical direction would take a sharp left turn and they would never create music like this anymore
