LONE WOLF Musician and composer Paul Marshall from Leeds, UK. Released 3 albums to date - Vultures (As Paul Marshall 2007), The Devil and I (Bella Union 2010) and The Lovers (It Never Rains Records 2012). Lone Wolf and much of the field recordings that would become The Devil and I began life in 2009 in various dusty rooms and tape studios around Sweden. Songs and ideas slowly coming together through the eyes of singer and guitarist Paul Marshall and the ears of engineer Kristofer Jonson from Jeniferever who recorded the album. After a month of various recordings, sneaking into concert halls late at night to use the piano, setting up their gear in small village churches, and any other place they could find, the basic album tracks were done

Paul Marshall has spent a tumultuous few years as Lone Wolf, both inside his own head and in the issues beyond his control. It seemed last year that all was said and done for the ex-Bella Union artist, who created stunning works of art in The Devil and I and The Lovers, but grew ditant from the rigours of an industry too constraining and lacking targets with heart; fed up with counting social stats, he escaped.
