Four nerds playing music and shit at the doors of hell. Lived together for 4 days and started writing our next album. It felt like even the worms were yelling (lol). They inspired us a lot, also some lizards that wanted to get in the house. We came up with 7 new songs, still need work, but we have a very good feeling about them. We want to work our asses off and make the best album we can and we can't wait to show you guys what we come up with!!

The cover of the debut album from Barcelona-based foursome Mourn bears an uncanny compositional resemblance to that of another debut album by another young, petulant quartet with an M, O, R, and N in their name. The band logo emblazoned in white all-caps, the grimly grayscale urban backdrop, the dark-haired subjects clad in leather jackets-Mourn’s reverence for the Ramones couldn’t be more obvious if they wore their t-shirts in their press photos.

Genre: Alternative R&B. Update: 35 Is there an instrumental shlohmo version of this? really the only artist who pitched up for this album. As always Spooky-Corbin has interesting projections, desperate tones but has abandoned all the good seen across his mixtapes and leaving EP in-fact this feels a complete retrograde from all the promise that "spooky black" had held.

Let’s start with Mourn’s biggest issue: Corbin himself. The album is loosely conceptualized around a pair of recluses (Corbin and his never-named female companion) who decamp to the woods, only for him to die and for her to lapse into depression and die too. The narrative is poorly formed and plays a fairly minimal role in the songs (they’re all self-contained narrative exercises), but the tone of that story, its inherent hopelessness (you can never escape your problems, your loved ones will die, ’s ed, et. colors the whole package
