Savoy are a Norwegian-American rock trio consisting of Paul Waaktaar-Savoy (famous from Norwegian band A-ha) (keyboards), his wife Lauren Savoy (vocals/guitars) and Frode Unneland (king vocals). The band was formed in 1994 and has released 6 studio albums to date. Savoy, unlike Waaktaar-Savoy's other band A-ha, has a certain down-to-earth indie rock approach to their music. All songs are composed by Paul Waaktaar-Savoy and Lauren Savoy.

Savoy is the fifth album from the Norwegian group of the same name, released October 30, 2004, in Norway. There is also a "Making Of" featurette. Whalebone" appears in the critically acclaimed film Hawaii, Oslo. All songs written by Paul Waaktaar-Savoy and Lauren Savoy.

The "Savoy Havana Band" was an augmentation, created by American saxophonist Bert Ralton, of the "Savoy Quartet". The band was developed by Ralton in 1921, hired by the management of London's Savoy Hotel to catch the popular mood of the ever-growing dance band movement that would exist between the two world wars. The Savoy Hotel is in The Strand, London, UK. The band performed between 1921 and 1927 and became a 'moveable feast' of musicians between the hotel's resident bands, the "Savoy Orpheans" and "The Sylvians", by 1927
