Proudly Presents Eros. Produced by Eros at Euroshima Studios, Or. FL. The B side track "Feel The Future" samples the 1997 movie "The Devil's Advocate".

And to close out the final album, a full color hardcover art book is also being released along side of the album. Art has always been a huge part of the process and representation of :10:. The hardcover book is filled with dark beautiful imagery that represents each track on the album. The book is a dark progression into the inner walls of limbo. Its dark lies, which blanket ones eyes in beauty and pleasure, blinding those who fall within. Eros – Those who seek to free themselves from the world around them find false hope within the walls of limbo. They are shown what they see as beauty and pleasure. Behind each dream, a demon feeding on their thoughts. Consuming their last drops of life. Each spirit broken for eternity, body shamed, broken and cold.

Deftones frontman Chino Moreno has posted a previously unreleased Deftones song thought to be from the bands shelved album, Eros. That effort was originally put aside following the tragic car accident which left their late bassist/vocalist Chi Cheng comatose. The song posted today, April 13th, marks the one year anniversary of Cheng‘s passing as a result of the complications from said car accident. With the song-apparently titled Smile -Moreno offered: Chi, We miss you today and everyday.

Eros is the working title of an unreleased album by Deftones with tentative release dates in 2008 and 2009. The November 2008 car accident of bassist Chi Cheng forced the band to initially hold off on releasing the album, and later shelve the album indefinitely in a creative decision to move forward. With Cheng in a coma, Deftones recruited former Quicksand bassist Sergio Vega and released Diamond Eyes instead in 2010. In the years that followed, the band has had mixed feelings about finishing and officially releasing Eros at some point down the road. I had faith it was going to come together.

Talk about Eros - Tweak! Proudly Presents Eros

bass
"Chicks Beans And Drum Machines" is a very breaky track. Starting of with piano rhythms and vocal samples "we shall cleanse the world" & "all your hatred, all your pain". Kicks in with The main lick from Enyas "Orinoco Flow" and then flips into acid breaks wih a sample going "Alright everybody...this is a f*ckin rave". Stays DARK for a bit then SLOWS down...breaksdown and then back into the beautiful piano melodies it started with. "Feel The Future" has a real deep subliminal tribal trance feel about it. Has a girl going "you can make me feel...feel good" and a guy going "you know what I see...I see the future". It goes into this mean breakdown with thick bass drops and jaguar roars...then builds back up and releases nicely. A track meant to be mixed unlike side A.
