June Campbell Cramer (3 June 1931 – 7 June 1999), better known as Lady June, was an English painter, poet and musician. She was associated with the Canterbury scene and recorded two albums. She exhibited and performed her works in several countries, often combining her painting, poetry and music into multimedia presentations.

Lady Jane" is a song by the English rock group the Rolling Stones, penned by the group's songwriting duo of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. It was initially included on their album, Aftermath. which was released on 12 April 1966 in the UK and 20 June 1966 in the US. The song showcases Brian Jones' instrumental incorporation of baroque rock as it was beginning to be introduced, and became influential in originating the musical style later known as world music

Lady June, aka June Campbell Cramer, was a Bohemian artist and poet who was something of an honorary member of the less commercial wing of the early-'70s British progressive rock scene. Numerous musicians lived and hung out in her flat in the Maida Vale area of London, which is most famous as the place where (at a 1973 party) Robert Wyatt fell out of a window, paralyzing him from the waist down. Lady June was already in her early forties when she recorded the debut album Linguistic Leprosy

File:The Rolling Stones - Lady Jane. My sweet Lady Jane When I see you again Your servant am I And will humbly remain. Just heed this plea my love On bended knees my love I pledge myself to Lady Jane. My dear Lady Anne I've done what I can I must take my leave For promised I am This play is run my love Your time has come my love I've pledged my troth to Lady Jane. Oh my sweet Marie I wait at your ease The sands have run out For your lady and me.

In hindsight, of course, albums like 1975's LADY-issued for the first time on CD in 2007 by Brain, with extensive liner notes in German and English-put the lie to the criticism. Standouts include "Silver Knickers," a blues jam with desultory, Hendrix-like vocals favored by many hard-rock bands of the era, and the tuneful and dramatic "Scratches on Your Back," which wouldn't have been out of place on BAT OUT OF HELL.
