Established in 1937 by Herbert Huffman, the Columbus Boychoir made quite a few recordings and was featured on radio and TV. In 1950 they moved to New Jersey and in 1980 changed their name to 'The American Boychoir'. イト: columbusboychoir. The Columbus Boychoir. Festival Of Song (Album, EP). 2 versions.

The American Boychoir School was a boarding/day middle school located in Hopewell, New Jersey, and the home of the American Boychoir. The school served boys in grades 4–8, many of whom came from across the United States and from many countries. It was one of only two boychoir boarding schools in the United States, the other being Saint Thomas Choir School in New York City. In 2002, the school was embroiled in a scandal due to allegations of sexual abuse of students by faculty and other students

The Boychoir's final medley is another bright spot. These kids were genuine talents. The last track fully utilizes the stereo soundstage by placing Miss Stevens well-left of center and Mr. Sullivan far over to the right. Their closely miked vocals contrast well with the boys and chorus, who are clearly further away

The American Boychoir Experience was for boys ages 9–12 only, and provides the experience of one week in the life of an American Boychoir School student without the academic classes. The week included choral training, music theory, in addition to traditional summer camp activities. This professional experience in choral training culminates in a formal concert.
