Larry Fast, aka Synergy, is a true pioneer of electronic music. Games is his fourth album, originally released in 1979. Back then,Fast's techniques were cutting-edge. In the new millennium, some of those methods would be similar to reconstruction or recycling. This album has nine tracks with four basic themes. Fast wrote the "Soundcheck: Delta Three" suite during Peter Gabriel's 1978 tour. Fast is a member of Gabriel's touring band.

Fast grew up in Livingston, New Jersey and attended Lafayette College in Pennsylvania, where he obtained a degree in History.

Larry Fast first came to prominence with the release of the debut album from Synergy called Electronic Realizations For Rock Orchestra in 1975. Prior to the release of Synergy’s debut Larry Fast had been at college. Initially Larry trained as a violinist and pianist before entering college and taking a few computer science courses.

Soundcheck: Delta 3 developed from themes written during soundchecks on the August to December 1978 Peter Gabriel Tour. Delta Two themes are remnants of 1974’s electronic Realizations For Rock Orchestra writing sessions. Delta Four is a surviving digital synthesizer sequencer program experiment combined with some advanced tape loops. Delta One is an experiment fusing the pop and electronic vocabularies of turn of the decade composition.
