Primus - Tales From the Punchbowl (Full Album).

Tales From the Punchbowl in my oppinion is an excellent album, because of the blend of ideas, the imagination to create great strange songs, with a bit funny sound, with power in some songs, but i repeat, the best is their unique style, because not only Claypool has his own style, also Herb Alexander is a great drummer, and the guitarist (i dont. Tales from the Punchbowl' is the fourth full length studio album from Primus and the last of the 4 great album run they had. This is also the last album to have Tim Alexander on drums until 7 years later when he rejoined the band. Said by many critics and fans alike, this is one of the band's best albums with some great vintage Primus cuts that are essential for all Primus fans.

Band: Primus Album: Tales From The Punchbowl (1996) Genre: 'Primus' Music: Les Claypool (Bass), Larry LaLonde (Guitar), Tim "Herb" Alexander (Drums) Lyrics: Les Claypool. Track 1 - Professer Nutterbutter's House of Treats (7:13). The introduction track to Tales of the Punchbowl is a nice little blend of what sounds to be a live audience and wacky lyrics, with some interesting alternating parts between Les and Ler. The basic story of the song is Professor Nutterbutter who gives out candy and the like to everyone in town

Similar to ARC pressed Primus - Tales From The Punchbowl this has no ARC in matrix. Recorded & Mixed at Rancho Relaxo, 11/94-3/95. Special thanks to the Honda . Generator without which this recording would probably still be incomplete due to the forces of nature.

LaLonde in particular seems to have improved a great deal between Pork Soda and Tales From the Punchbowl. His dissonances seem a bit more calculated and less gratuitous and lazy than they often came off before. With high energy and full of surprises, Tales From the Punchbowl is one of Primus' finer discs.
