Have a Nice Life is an American experimental rock band founded in Connecticut in 2000 by Dan Barrett and Tim Macuga. The band followed up with the extended play Time of Land, released as a free download in 2010.

Have a Nice Life is the sixth studio album and first holiday album released by Cyndi Lauper. It combines original compositions by Lauper and collaborator Jan Pulsford with traditional Christmas songs. Reportedly much of the vocal was recorded in Lauper's cedar closet as it had a reverb that she liked. It is a follow up to 2008's Deathconsciousness and 2010's Time of Land E. he tracks "Defenestration Song" and "Burial Society" premiered in December 2013 and January 2014, respectively. The full album was streamed by Pitchfork Media from January 20, 2014 to January 27, 2014. Time of Land is an EP released by Shoegaze band Have a Nice Life.

The band's extended-play album Time of Land was released for free as a digital download in 2010. In January 2014, Have a Nice Life released their follow-up LP to Deathconsciousness, titled The Unnatural World Discography. Middletown, Connecticut is considered the southernmost city in the Knowledge Corridor Metropolitan Region, at the time the first European settlers arrtived in the region, the Mattabesetts were a part of the group of tribes in the Connecticut Valley, under a single chief named Sowheag. Plans for the settlement of Mattabesett were drawn up by the General Court in 1646.
