The Sticks is the fourth album by Vancouver-based indie rock band Mother Mother. It was produced by band member Ryan Guldemond and producer Ben Kaplan. The album's first single, "Let's Fall in Love", was released on July 17, 2012. All songs written by Ryan Guldemond. Molly Guldemond - vocals and keyboard. Ryan Guldemond - guitar and vocals. Jasmin Parkin - keyboard and vocals.

It was a weird old portable thing made of leather and green glowing dials. I’d stay up and play with it all night. That was probably how I learned about static being the music of ancient stardust. I could lay in the dark with my eyes closed and listen to it for hours. It was an electric snow that melted my face until I was the roaring sun rolling infinite. I listened to music too, and though it felt good, the words never made any sense  . am i the only one who thinks a really deep loud bass guitar in a song is sexy as fuck. like i’m fed up with the synthy pop on the radio i want some hot old school bass.

Q: What is the album Post Stone Age Technology all about and what are the different aspects from the production you especially take care of? Wagner: As I already said it is about apocalyptical aspects. We decided to create much more catchy melodies and grooves to transport our themes on the dark dancefloors. Q: I noticed an interesting and somewhat ‘different’ approach in sound between the first EP City Of The Dreamers (which still has an epic & medieval touch reminding me of Winterhart) and the album, which sounds more electro/EBM-like
