La Valse with the New York Philharmonic is especially beautiful and magical. The opening two mists nearly come out of the mists of France of the past. Bernstein and the delicate playing of New York is a great treat. A great disc if you can get one and do get one before they are gone. Not too many other musical pieces match the energy and excitement of Ravel's Bolero as directed by Leonard Bernstein. The other pieces on this CD are equally enjoyable.
