Paragon of Dissonance is the fifth studio album by the British doom metal band Esoteric. It was released in 2011 through Season of Mist Records. For unknown reasons, long-time guitarist Gordon Bicknell temporarily left the group early during the recording sessions, the only track that features Bicknell is "Non Being".

I will not delve much into the sound of the album; it is as it always has been. The guitars are thick, densely layered and deliver the aural assault expected when you combine doom and death metal. Greg’s vocals are still top-notch and he isn’t afraid to abuse them when necessary.
