Ten Little Indians is a old nursery rhyme from USA. It was first time published in back in 1868. Then it was called "Ten Little Injuns", and it had 10 verses. You can find the original lyrics below. Even though it is a old song, Ten Little Indians is still popular. Tip: Ten Little Indians is a so called "number rhyme", and it is great for teaching counting.

Among established name artists to appear on Cricket were Gene Autry, William Bendix, Smiley Burnette, Bobby Colt, Dennis Day, Eddie Dean, Leif Erickson, Ray Heatherton, Boris Karloff, Joseph Cotten, Maury Laws, Gisele MacKenzie, Norman Rose and David Wayne.

Ten Little Indians is a 1989 mystery film directed by Alan Birkinshaw.

Ten Little Indians is an American children's counting out rhyme. It has a Roud Folk Song Index number of 12976. The term "Indians" in this sense is referring to American Indians. In 1868, songwriter Septimus Winner adapted it as a song, then called "Ten Little Injuns", for a minstrel show. The modern lyrics for the children's rhyme are: The song sometimes begins with a repeated verse, "John Brown met a little Indian" before entering the well-known verses.

Seven little Soldier boys chopping up sticks; One chopped himself in halves and then there were six. Six little Soldier boys playing with a hive; A bumblebee stung one and then there were five. Five little Soldier boys going in for law; One got into Chancery and then there were four. Ten apparent strangers are all brought together at an inn on an isolated island off the coast of Devon; the island has no phones, no communications, no way to get off except for the morning boat. They are the only people on the island. We later learn that all have been involved with a death for which they didn’t claim responsibility. The cast worked well together, although there were a larger number of line-pauses and flubs than we usual see. I’ll attribute that to Thanksgiving :-). It was the usual mix of REP Players and new folks, some stronger than others.
