Carpenters is the third studio album by American music duo Carpenters. Released on May 14, 1971, it was their most successful studio album, reaching number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and number 12 in the UK. The album contained the hit songs "For All We Know", "Rainy Days and Mondays" and "Superstar". It has been said that the strength of these recordings is what caused Richard Carpenter to ask his sister to front the band for their live performances instead of playing behind the drums.

Talk about Carpenters - For All We Know

Qwne
Uh, no. This record was NOT pressed by Columbia, Pitman. It would have been made of styrene. This is a Canadian pressing of vinyl, as are all Canadian 45s. Etched in the deadwax is AM1243 A on one side and AM1243 B on the other. ZT. is also etched into both sides. "Don't Be Afraid" is mis-labeled as MONO. Both sides are STEREO.
