After years of trying and having only an Amiga to work with, this was finally how their music really should sound. Also, the great variety of styles on this album makes it a pleasure to keep listening it over and over again from time to time, without getting bored. Def P's lyrics also started to get more poetic and complex, without losing the typical 'in your face'-feeling that made Osdorp Posse popular among their fans.

The Osdorp Posse, founded in Amsterdam, Netherlands, in 1989, was one of the first groups to make rap music in Dutch. All four members are related to each other. Influenced by gangsta rap, they made a name for themselves by combining the music of hardcore hip hop with Dutch lyrics featuring literal translations of American slang.

In my opinion, "Geendagsvlieg" is still (by far) the best album from Osdorp Posse till date.After years of trying and having only an Amiga to work with, this was finally how their music really should sound. Also, the great variety of styles on this album makes it a pleasure to keep listening it over and over again from time to time, without getting bored. Def P's lyrics also started to get more poetic and complex, without losing the typical 'in your face'-feeling that made Osdorp Posse popular among their fans.This was also the first album that featured the metalband Blind Justice in some of the tracks, which really add an extra dimension to the whole. The only thing that would have made this album better (if that's possible at all) was if they had put the Extince-disstrack "Braakwater" on it as well.
