Hook n Sling- Number Cruncher EP I find its hard to find a single these days with good tracks on both sides - so I was pleased to find Hook n sling's new EP delivers the goods. Tight, chunky beats locked in and sliding with bouncy square bass, intricate percussion and (on one track) some lovely vocals. These tracks never get boring, Hook n Sling knows how to tease out the goodness in his beats - just when you think you know whats coming after the next breakdown, he puts something else in that you wouldnt have expected but sounds perfectly 'right'. Both these tracks will (and already do) rock any dancefloor at its peak.
