Life After Death is the fourth full-length album by Burlington, Ontario's The Creepshow released by Stomp Records, and the first to feature new band members Kenda Legapsi, Sandro Sanchioni and Daniel Flamm. See You In Hell" - 3:25. The Devil's Son" - 2:50. Sinners + Saints" - 3:04. Born To Lose" - 2:42. Settle The Score" - 2:44. Failing Grade" - 3:14.

Inspired by surrealism (particularly the filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky), Life After Death is a topsy-turvy world of twisted samples and unexpected turns. There's a sinister tint to much of the LP, especially on "Blue Death," the only track that references Rabit's grime-obsessed past. Here, the genre is transformed into something gloomy and elegiac, emphasising its clichés. The strings are icy, the gunshots real-not just the usual gun-cocking samples. These tracks offer respite from the disturbing sounds elsewhere on the LP. On the closing track, "12," you can hear plaintive piano, children playing and what sounds like a film reel spinning. This ambiguity is the strongest aspect of Rabit's approach. It starts out as chaos," he said of his process in a recent interview, "and I try to make sense of the different layers of chaos.

Not long afterward, The Notorious . rose again: The double album Life After Death was released March 25. It sold 700,000 hard copies almost immediately, jumping from No. 176 to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in the space of a week. The album’s cover art featured the man formerly known as Biggie Smalls in a long black coat and black bowler. He stared us in the face while leaning against a hearse that bore the license plate .

Death-what Terence McKenna called the black hole of biology- is, perhaps, the greatest mystery known to human beings. While there is compelling evidence that there is life after death and that consciousness survives death, there is also compelling evidence that it does not and the truth is no one knows for sure what happens when we die. I would be highly suspect of anyone who tells you otherwise. This limited range of possibilities for life after death is likely due to our strong fear of death, which creates a powerful emotional charge and makes playful speculation on this topic difficult for most people. The Consciousness Experts Weigh in on What Happens After Death. But if our fears of the afterlife can be suspended or transcended, and we can set our hopes and expectations aside, how might we explore this mystery and come up with alternative possibilities for life after death?

Life After Death is the second and final studio album by American rapper The Notorious . released on March 25, 1997, on Bad Boy Records. A double album, it was released posthumously following his death on March 9, 1997. R. Kelly, The LOX and Puff Daddy. Life After Death exhibits The Notorious . further delving into the mafioso rap subgenre. Life After Death has been considered by music writers as one of the seminal mafioso rap albums, along with Raekwon's Only Built 4 Cuban Lin. 1995) and Jay-Z's Reasonable Doubt (1996). In 2003, the album was ranked number 476 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

Life After Death, The Notorious . s second and final full-length studio album, which also serves as his first posthumous release, begins where its predecessor, 1994's Ready to Die left off: with the narrator dying from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. This feat of storytelling is repeated two more times on the first disc of this double album alone. On Niggas Bleed, Big is a bagman sent to secure a large drug transaction, but his greed has him thinking about a double-cross: I kill them all, I'll be set for life, he imagines.
