Reload is the seventh studio album by American heavy metal band Metallica, released on November 18, 1997 by Elektra Records. The album is a follow-up to Load, released the previous year, and Metallica's last studio album to feature bassist Jason Newsted. Reload debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 436,000 copies in its first week. It was certified 3 platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipping three million copies in the United States.
ReLoad was released on November 18, 1997 through Elektra Records. It is a sequel or counterpart to the band's previous album, Load, and also the final Metallica album of the 20th century. ReLoad debuted on the Billboard 200, selling 417,000 copies in its first week. Only six of the thirteen songs have ever been played live. They include "Fuel", "The Memory Remains", "Devil's Dance", "The Unforgiven II", "Low Man's Lyric", and "Carpe Diem Baby".

So, when you put this album in your CD player you will feel like you're still listening to "Load" because it has the same production, it has the same weaknesses, it has the same kind of Riffs, the same type of drum play, vocals, and so on and so on. The only thing is that this gets worse than "Load", because you can't help being shocked when you look at the back cover of the CD and you see there's a song called "The Unforgiven II"!

Marianne Faithfull's backing vocals on "The Memory Remains" complement the weird, uneasy melody, and "Where the Wild Things Are" has an eerie menace that Metallica never achieved on Load.
