Jörg-Peter Weigle (born 1953, Greifswald, is a German conductor and music professor. He is the uncle of the conductor Sebastian Weigle and the violist Friedmann Weigle. Weigle received his musical training from 1963 to 1971 at the St. Thomas School, Leipzig, and sang in the children's choir. From 1973 to 1978, he studied at the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" (Berlin), where his teachers included Horst Förster (conducting), Dietrich Knothe (choral conducting) and Ruth Zechlin (counterpoint)

The Regensburger Domspatzen (literally: Regensburg Cathedral Sparrows) is the cathedral choir at the Regensburg Cathedral in Regensburg, Bavaria, Germany. The boys' choir dates back to 976, and consists of boys and young men only. They perform in liturgy and concert, and have made international tours and recordings.
