So are the Bach concerti with David Oistrakh in the solo concerti and David plus his son Igor in the double concerto. Tonally opulent and sufficiently propulsive, they also include poetic second movements (try the one in the two-violin concerto for example). With the lips versions of the solo concerti, the Oistrakhs' Bach remains indispensable. the Vivaldi concerto is not unattractive but cannot match the Richter fourth Suite, I think.
