The Key is the eighth studio album by the British singer-songwriter Joan Armatrading, released on 28 February 1983 by A&M Records (AMLX64912). The album was recorded at Townhouse Studios in Shepherd's Bush, London; Polar Studios in Stockholm and also in New York. The album spawned the single "Drop the Pilot", which became one of Armatrading's biggest hits, reaching number 11 in the UK Singles Chart over a 10-week stay.

The Key is the first full-length studio album from Florida progressive death metal band Nocturnus. It was released on Earache Records in October 1990. A concept album, The Key is centered on an occult (the influence of drummer/vocalist Mike Browning) meets sci-fi (influenced by guitarist Mike Davis) theme. The story follows a cyborg who travels back in time to the year 0 .

Dmyra (Robert Demes II, Santa Barbara, Costa Rica) is the fifth collaboration with Clinical Archives. The previous issues were sailing towards a k sung while in this "Starry Cove" (4 tracks entirely instrumental) Dmyra veers semi-classical guitar compositions, intimate and intense. Dmyra seems to sit under the starry sky art-work trying to get his notes with a way of communicating a message of love to the universe.
