Jungle is the debut studio album by London-based modern musical collective Jungle. It was released on 14 July 2014 through XL Recordings. In September 2014, the album was shortlisted for the 2014 Mercury Prize. Platoon" and "The Heat" were digitally released as the lead singles promoting the album on 16 December 2013

In 1984 Street Beat recorded two singles for Steinar Records in London. The first record was one of the first European female rap (by Cæcilie Norby, later internationally known jazz singer). The only album was Gaga Jungle Land, released in 1986 and only in Denmark.

Street Beat is the debut album by The Deele. Released in 1983 on the SOLAR Records label, which was distributed by Elektra/Asylum Records. It was produced by Midnight Star member Reggie Calloway. This album included The Deele's first big hit, "Body Talk," which reached on the R&B chart. Body Talk" was featured in the pilot episode for the television series Miami Vice. Street Beat was a Danish band formed in 1982 by Henrik Carlsen (keyboards) and Bo Møller (bass). Drummer Kristian Skovgård Lassen joined the band shortly after. The three of them stayed together until 1993. Many famous Danish artists and musicians have started their career with a stint in the band. In 1984 Street Beat recorded two singles for Steinar Records in London.

indie/neo-funk act Jungle's self-titled debut album was one of highly calculated mystery. The band came out of the ether first in the form of several videos featuring mostly dancers but no bandmembers. Stills from these videos were subsequently used as press photos and the membership of the band was kept almost entirely anonymous.
