Upon relocating to Los Angeles in the 80s, she continued to concentrate on the theater, appearing in a series of musicals and dramas. Collins debuted with the album, Girls Nite Out in 1989 and scored a pair of hits with 'Girls Nite Out' and 'Whatcha Gonna Do'. In 1992, she released her second album, Tyler, which featured the songs,'It Doesnt Matter' and 'Just Make Me The One'.
