Foster the People is an American indie pop band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2009. It currently consists of lead vocalist Mark Foster, lead guitarist Sean Cimino, keyboardist Isom Innis, and drummer Mark Pontius. Foster founded the band in 2009 after spending several years in Los Angeles as a struggling musician and working as a commercial jingle writer

In a recent interview, Björk called Utopia my Tinder album. Yes, because I thought that was hilarious, but obviously I would never be able to be on Tinder. What she’s talking about, really, is fresh experiences with new people: the excitement and sexiness and clumsiness of those encounters. People trying things out, and rejection, both ways. We all have chapters, and then when you start new chapters, it’s like: ‘I’m walking down the same streets I’m always walking down, I’m wearing the same clothes, but it feels like I’m on Mars.

Jessie J interview: 'People are holding on to the old me'. The star talks to Digital Spy about Miley comparisons, her new album and US plans. We can't quite believe that Jessie J has been playing the role of popstar in our lives for only three years. We The People interview. author: Klemen Breznikar. We The People interview. David: My first band was the The Nonchalants, who later changed our name to The Offbeets before forming We The People. How did you become involved in the band(s) and what type of music did you play? Wayne: The Vibrations played Ventures stuff, The Coachmen played most everything, including old soul music, folk songs, and even James Brown. The Trademarks followed the British Invasion music of the Beatles, Dave Clark Five, and so on. David: My association with Tom Wynn (first drummer for We The People) started The Nonchalants and The Offbeets

Foster The People Interview. Words: James Hendicott. Article Published: April 30, 2014. His aptly-named band Foster The People have leapt to stratospheric levels of radio play off the back of debut single Pumped Up Kicks, an unlikely high school massacre meets infectious dance combo, and ‘Torches’, the album that followed.

Daniel Avery: "I want to play as much to the people in the back corner as those people down the front going crazy". We’re going to be the biggest band in the world – Meet Emotional Oranges, the Kanye-approved R&B collective. Blossoms have released a new single. Kasabian's Serge Pizzorno tells us about his debut solo album as The . I've been completely reborn". Mattiel: How the rising Atlanta star recovered from illness to make inventive and intelligent rock’n’roll. Slaves have curated their own festival line-up for Wheels And Fins 2019, so we talked to their mates, Lady Bird.
