My Name is Earl - The Album was released on CD in the United States on September 19, 2006 to concide with the release of My Name is Earl - Season 1 on DVD. Mixing dialogue snippets with proven rock and country hits employed in first-season episodes, the CD features a vocal version of the show's theme song by the tongue-twisting Nescobar-A-Lop-Lop and the Camden County Band.

Earl is the debut mixtape by American rapper Earl Sweatshirt Contents. The album features vocals from Tyler, the Creator, Vince Staples, Hodgy Beats, and some backing vocals from fellow Odd Future members Syd Tha Kyd and Taco Bennett Reception.

However, the album jumps unexpectedly a few times to the tune of two classic early nineties, top-forty, hip-hop staples; "Bust a Move" and "It Takes Two". While both Young Mc and Rob Base bring me down memory lane, "Bust a Move" and "It Takes Two" are perhaps a little out of character with the flow of the soundtrack.

Earl realizes that his list has given other people the same idea. He then concludes that he has made the world a better place, and puts his list away for good, before walking into the sunset. The character Darnell Turner is in the government Witness Protection Program, and his original name is Harry Monroe. In Season 2, Episode 7, his past is found out by his wife, and he is kicked out of his house by her for not telling her or anybody about his past. Later he is allowed back in, and his children ask him to tell them a bedtime story; he tells them about the story of Harry Monroe.
