Talk about Kevin Saunderson - The Sound (Power Remix)

Let's get some facts out there. Tranzister was not written by Kevin Saunderson. It was written by Cisco Ferreira, released on R&S records as The Project - Here We Go. http://www.discogs.com/Project-Dance-Syndrome-Here-We-Go/release/132361More thieving in the world that we know and love as House music.

Let's get some REAL FACTS out there, you sir are incorrect and it's self explanatory,Kevin Saunderson's version was released in 1988 and The Project - Here We Go was released in 1989 so I fail to see how he could have stole it.It's also a fact that R&S used to sample early Detroit House heavily and in some other instances just copy a song and give it a different title. You need to do better research !
Puchock
i think you mean "The Groove That Won't Stop (Rmx)" not "Tranzister"
RED
dates on records can be misleading as it does not always mean it was released in that year, especially when its a bootleg, when i got this record in 1989 i was told it was bootleg release, if you check the label you will see the groove is near the centre, all other legit KMS releases have the groove near the outside of the label.

Kevin's version is better regardless to the truth of that claim. lool

well considering that Kevin's track was released in 88 and Cisco Ferreira's came out in 89 I fail to see how you are correct.

I'm really confused by the You Tube sound recordings on this page that claim to be "The Groove That Won't Stop".I have this record, KMS 014(RMX), & I've always known "The Groove That Won't Stop" as the track with the killer bassline that Todd Terry sampled for "Back To The Beat".In fact, Kevin Saunderson's "The Groove That Won't Stop" & Todd Terry's "Back To The Beat" are so similar that there are whole sections that are virtually identical apart from Todd Terry's use of additional vocal samples over the top of the rhythm track. So can anybody shed any light here?Which one actually came first? (I always thought TT sampled his groove from Kevin Saunderson's "The Groove That Won't Stop" & then added a few breaks & vocal samples over the top to give the world "Back To The Beat")Why is my vinyl recording of "The Groove That Won't Stop" that appears on the B-side to KMS 014(RMX) completely different to the 2 uploaded You Tube versions that have exactly the same name?

I think the labels/tracks on this release are the wrong way around. The track that Todd Terry sampled for "Back To The Beat" is actually "The Sound" (although he probably sampled it from Reese & Santonio - The Sound which was released in 1987).Another pointer to the labels/tracks being incorrect are some YouTube videos for "Tranzister" which actually contain "The Groove That Won't Stop (Rmx)" instead.
