Kill the Lights is the fifth studio album by American country music artist Luke Bryan. The album's lead single, "Kick the Dust Up", was released to country radio on May 19, 2015. Strip It Down" was released as the second single from the album on August 4, 2015. The album's third single, "Home Alone Tonight", was released to country radio on November 23, 2015.

Luke Bryan wrote this song, which contains an almost EDM beat, with father-and-son producers Jeff and Jody Stevens. They came out to the house one day," he related to Taste of Country. Jody is a great track guy. He builds tracks at the house, works on stuff, and he played me this kind of, just a real funky groove, and I heard it, and I loved i. Jody Stevens' track lined up perfectly with an idea that Bryan already had stored away. I went in my phone, and I had typed in a title for a song called 'Kill the Lights,'" the singer recalled. The Kill the Lights album debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 200 chart with more than 345,000 copies sold. It was the largest sales week for a country LP in three years - since Bryan's previous full album,Crash My Party, which arrived at with 528,000 in August 2013. More songs from Luke Bryan. More songs from 2015. Lyrics to Kill the Lights.

For these and other reasons, Bryan is the biggest thing going in mainstream country in 2015. Ahead of fifth studio album Kill the Lights, he seemed to reassure fans that he'd keep the good times rolling. He chose "Kick the Dust Up," with its decelerated dance groove, as the first single, which echoed "That's My Kind of Night," the blockbuster hit from his last album, Crash My Party

Luke Bryan is more confident in the well-rounded mix of songs on his new album Kill the Lights than he has been going into any album to date. Bryan will release Kill the Lights, his fifth studio album, on Aug. 7. The album is home to Bryan’s current hit, Kick the Dust Up, and 12 more songs, six of which were co-written by Bryan.

Bryan’s fifth studio album is well-turned Nashville radio bait, trite yet undeniable, sure to drive up bar tabs in 50 states and beyond. Dude knows his core fan base, and it’s no accident the lead three songs target ladies: The cornfield line-dance anthem Kick the Dust Up asks one gal to back it on up, the Eighties-rockin’ title track asks another to pull me in, and the sexy, quiet-storm-ish Strip It Down instructs a lucky barefoot someone to feel my belt.

So far, Bryan has stayed relatively mum about his forthcoming record, Kill the Lights, but its debut single, "Kick the Dust Up;" a big collaboration with Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild; and the fact that it's Luke-freaking-Bryan make it easy to think that the country superstar can get even bigger. Here is what we know so far about the 38-year-old's upcoming project. Bryan's new album is titled Kill the Lights. The title track is the second song on the record. The album is scheduled for an Aug. 7 release
