The inaugural release of the Geffen Records label, it became a Top 20 album in the United States, with the title track reaching on the Billboard Hot 100. This album had been out of print but was re-released on December 9, 2014, on the Driven by the Music label (remastered/bonus tracks).
Donna Summer is the self-titled tenth studio album by American singer-songwriter Donna Summer, released on July 19, 1982. It featured the Top 10, Grammy-nominated "Love Is in Control (Finger on the Trigger)" single.
