Eminem’s fifth studio album released November 12 2004. The album was meant to be released on November 16 but came out early because the album was leaked to the Internet. At the time of recording, Eminem considered this to be his final album. This album is considered by most critics, fans and even Eminem himself to be a big step down from his normal level and was his only album not to win him even one Grammy, despite being nominated for three. However the album did sell a lot and was declared quadruple platinum and peaked at on the Billboard 200.
The highly anticipated new album from Eminem, Encore, hit the stores on November 12th. The fourth studio album (fifth album) by Eminem, Encore, features appearances from Obie Trice, 50 Cent, Nate Dogg and D-12. Encore is the fifth studio album by American rapper Eminem. It was set for release on November 16, 2004, but was moved up to November 12, after the album was leaked to the Internet. Encore sold 760,000 copies in its shortened three day opening week and claimed the spot on the Billboard Top 200. The album sold 1,632,000 copies in its first two weeks of release in the United States in November, 2004. Eminem took a hiatus after the release of his first motion picture, 8 Mile, in late 2002, but it never seemed like he went away. Part of that is the nature of celebrity culture, where every star cycles through gossip columns regardless of whether they have a project in the stores or theaters, and part of it is that Marshall Mathers kept busy, producing records by his protégés D12, Obie Trice, and 50 Cent - all hit albums - with the latter turning into the. biggest new hip-hop star of 2003.
Encore (Eminem song). Encore" (stylized as "ƎNCORE" and sometimes known as "Curtains Down") is a song by the rapper Eminem, released in 2004 as a vinyl single in the . It was the title track from his fourth major studio album, Encore, which was also released that year. It is the third single and the 20th or final track from the album. The song is a collaboration of the biggest artists on the Shady and Aftermath record label, which consist of Eminem himself, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent.
