Revolution of the Mind: Live at the Apollo, Volume III is a live double album by James Brown released in 1971. After a triple album project recorded in France was cancelled because Brown had signed with a new label, Polydor, in 1971, Brown elected to do many of the same songs on a New York project.

1st and 3rd cat. as per back of the sleeve (bottom left), 2nd cat. as per center labels. Matrix, Runout (label side A): POLP 80247. Horribly produced and mixed, we get JB at the peak of his riffing and screaming self.

Revolution Of The Mind (Twin Pack - Recorded Live - Apollo III) ‎(8-Trk, Album). The resulting album, Brown sixth live LP in eight years, still produces the shivers. The long and hypnotic "Escape-ism", "Make It Funky" vamp was only played once, opening the first show of the first night. Like Danny Ray says: I'd like to know, are you ready for some Super Dynamite Soul!?
