Despite the poor design and cheapo look of Rhino Flashbacks' Sonny & Cher collection titled I Got You Babe & Other Hits, it turns out to be a very nice disc musically. Both of the duo's chart smashes are here (1965's number one hit "I Got You Babe" and 1967's number six "The Beat Goes On") as well as eight other singles that placed in the Top 60 between 1965 and 1968. The collection omits "Baby Don't Go," their number eight hit from 1965, but other than that, the disc is all a casual Sonny & Cher fan might want or need.
