I've Got My Own Album to Do is the first solo album by English musician Ronnie Wood, released in September 1974. An all-star project recorded outside of his activities with the Faces, it reached number 27 on the UK's New Musical Express chart. Wood has said that the album title originated from contributors such as George Harrison and Mick Jagger "nagging me to let them go home" and finish their own projects. The album was recorded at The Wick, Wood's house in Richmond, south-west London.
I got plans, to be the greatest man who ever lived Make my name more than just a word, like it was sentences God wanted an answer and I sent him this Young intelligent, pretty boy Grinding like them skaters is But nah, I’m an artist Form my future like a sculpture I’m immortal flying over death. So I say please don't let me down Don't want to beg, need u around I got my mind on those D signs, mind on those D signs I got my mind on those D signs, mind on those D signs Please don't let me down, I need you around Way up to my dreams.
Down to a science, down pat, or just plain (down) That's how we got it, comin from the hometown Of a sound which some call a trend That's cause they just waitin for it to end But yo, rap is here to stay no matter who they say it's dyin Cause the fans keep multiplyin So as long as rhymes.
I got the straight up rock'n'roll, All Night Long, but I also got a slight, very slight prog tinge. Not 2112, but just a slight push of the envelope. And then a shout out to Cozy Powell on the drums. it's by no means a bad album and despite the fact the lyrics from the most popular songs are a bit cringy now with their overtures to young groupies, Graham Bonnet has a decent set of pipes on him that's for sure. Nothing Blackmore produced afterwards was anywhere near as interesting, as he delved ever deeper into AOR territory but I prefer to think of this as the last good un as opposed to the beginning of the end.
Got A Man On My Mind Boney M. 2:03. With a Little Help from My Fri Joe Cocker. I've Got a Rock in My Underpants Lightning Beat-Man And The Never Heard Of Ems. 2:31. A Woman Sees a Hard Time (When Her Man Is Gone) Joe Tex.
Album: Toxicity (2001). Get the Sheet Music License This Song. The point was valid, just got the name wrong. I think the song is stating that while science has indeed led us away from some of the more dogmatic and medieval religious beliefs that persisted for a long time (the diseased programming of centuries) it still cannot answer questions of meaning and beauty. The intangibles and the "why" questions in life are left void by science since science is amoral and completely impotent to answer questions on meaning, morals, love and aesthetics.
