A Wonderful Guy" is a show tune from the 1949 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical South Pacific. It was first introduced by Mary Martin in the original Broadway production and sung by Mitzi Gaynor in the 1958 film adaptation. In the show, Nellie sings this song after being convinced that despite the racial differences between her and Emile, there is good in him. And so she is elated to be in love with him.
Lord I’m In Your Care. Oh, Lord, I’m in your care Oh, Lord, I’m in your care Your loving arms around me Evil cannot harm me Oh, Lord, I’m in your care. All day long I’m in your care All day long I’m in your care Your loving arms around me Evil cannot harm me Lord, I’m in your care. When I was sick, I was in your care When I was sick, I was in your care Your loving arms around me Evil cannot harm me Lord, I’m in your care. I’m a friendless child, but I’m in your care I’m a friendless child, but I’m in your care Your loving arms around me Evil cannot harm me Lord, I’m in your care.

O Jesus, my Lord and Saviour, Who gavest Thy life for me, No room in my heart for pleasures That have not their trust in Thee; Earth has no abiding city, Not here is my place of rest, I seek for a brighter country, A home with the pure and blest. The world like a dream will vanish, The hope like the years decay, Its beauties like dewy blossoms Will wither and pass away; But Thou wilt abide unchanging, My sure defense wilt be; O Jesus my Lord and Saviour, I'm trusting alone in Thee. O what are the toils and labors, The crosses that now I bear . I'm trusting, only trusting My Saviour's hand to guide; I know His grace sufficient, And ask for naught beside; My soul is on the mountain, My home beyond the sea: O bless the Lord! I love Him, Because He first loved me. Chorus: Because He first loved me.
What a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful Lord We have With love so amazing I'm praising and praising my King When I think of all the things That He's done for me My heart is filled with overwhelming Thankfulness indeed The blessings He bestows upon My life and my home Oh I've got to say it loud and clear I know. More lyrics from the album.
Mom, you're a wonderful mother, So gentle, yet so strong. The many ways you show you care Always make me feel I belong. You're patient when I'm foolish; You give guidance when I ask; It seems you can do most anything; You're the master of every task. You're a dependable source of comfort; You're my cushion when I fall. I'm blessed with your unconditional love; I appreciate you every day. By Joanna Fuchs. Most of the mother poems here are rhyming poems, but there are some in free verse.
I was a good guy But I was the worst type Give me an inch, man And I'll take a mile I'm walking back now Past all the fires Trying to find out Why I grabbed the lighter. My future used to shine as bright as a diamond Where did time go? I was so high, it was frightening I know I messed up, but there's no use in crying (No use in crying) Oh my dear Lord. I've been running wild, had a good time But I can't stop now (Oh my dear Lord) Over my head in a landslide Can you pull me out? Oh my dear Lord Oh my dear Lord Oh my dear Lord
