Bio Santa Esmeralda starring Leroy Gomez Leroy Gomez is an American, native of Cape Cod, Mass. At age 14, he formed his own band, and later joined the group Tavares , touring the USA, and Canada, the Carrabin and then on to Europe. He played saxophone on the famous Elton John album Yellow Brick Road His first solo success was a single Here we go Round which was an instant hit in Europe and Latin America. Then came his world wide success Santa Esmeralda starring Leroy Gomez Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood Before Saturday Night Fever and the Bee-Gees and Thriller from Michael Jackson, Santa Esmeralda starring Leroy Gomez broke the record of album sales with 15 million LPs sold within a few months.
