Bernard Lee "Pretty" Purdie (born June 11, 1939) is an American drummer, considered an influential R&B, soul, funk musician. He is known for his precise musical time keeping and his signature use of triplets against a half-time backbeat: the "Purdie Shuffle. He was inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 2013.

It is indeed a good pressing and a gem for RSD2019. Good dynamics, channel separation with wide soundstage, flat and with low surface noise. Punchy and uncompressed sound. I will definitely will not categorize this as an audiophile grade towards the mastering but definitely a good pressing.

Absolutely phenomenal pressing. Expensive for only a single LP, but well worth ANY price. The sound is rich, dynamic, punchy, and full. Beautiful glossy gatefold with OBI strip. The LP is heavy at 180 grams, perfectly flat, centered, and dead quiet. Not a single click, pop, or static sound to be heard - just pure audio fidelity. Easily one of the best sounding LP's I own, and definitely the highlight of RSD 2019 for me. If you like Purdie, or any soul/R&B/Funk music, then this is a must have!

This is one of my favorite record store day purchases 2019, excellent r&b soul funk record. A must have for fans of this music.
