Fancy Footwork is the second studio album by Canadian electro-funk duo Chromeo, released on May 8, 2007 by Turbo Recordings and Last Gang Records. The album spawned three singles: "Fancy Footwork", "Tenderoni", and "Bonafied Lovin". In the United States, Fancy Footwork reached number eleven on the Top Electronic Albums chart and number twenty-five on the Top Heatseekers chart.

For Chromeo, fancy footwork means wooing girls with lines like, Never mind an SMS/What you need is a sweet caress". Their second album is a musical Groundhog Day, with our heroes endlessly reliving that awesome afternoon in 1988 when they discovered Hall & Oates and stole their first kiss. But this is serious funny business: The sax solo on 100% is epic, and the synth that anchors the title track is massive, making for a record that's as funky as it is playful and goofy. When Fancy Footwork dropped, it represented the new wave of the Chromeo crusade. They'd had success with their debut, She's In Control, yes, but now Patrick Gemayel and David Macklovitch had really begun to hit their stride in the studio. The magic on the wax comes from the effortless blend of the old and new. Over the course of its 11 tracks they resurrect the slept-on grooves of 80s Minneapolis space funk, and seamlessly fuse them with the harder electronic beats people like Justice and the DFA roster were carving out at that time.

Back with a slicker set of moves and immaculately groomed hooks, on Fancy Footwork Chromeo are in even more control of their sound than they were on She's in Control. The duo's debut was undeniably fun, but it was such a slave to the rhythm that, at times, it was numbing; on this album, Chromeo take their electro textures and funky beats in a very pop direction, topping them with memorable melodies and witty lyrics.
