Bad Blood is the sixth studio album by US electronica duo Blood on the Dance Floor, released internationally on September 3, 2013. Although not reaching the same success as their previous effort, Evolution, it is their second-best selling release to date, peaking at No. 137 on the Billboard Albums Chart. In the beginning of 2013, there were major rumors claiming Blood on the Dance Floor had split when they withdrew from the Soundwave Festival. However, it turned out to be a hoax.

Blood on the Dance Floor is an American electronic music act from Orlando, Florida, formed in 2006. The group's longest-standing lineup, from 2009-2016, consisted of Dahvie Vanity and Jayy Von Monroe. The group released nine studio albums before breaking up in 2016 following Von Monroe's departure. It was reformed by Vanity the following year, initially with Fallon Vendetta. As of 2019, Dahvie Vanity is the sole member of the group.

Michael Jackson co-directed "Blood on the Dance Floor" with choreographer Vincent Patterson. In the short film, Michael sings and dances to the song in a crowded club alongside a dancer played by Sybil Azur. The short film made its world premiere on the long-running . program Top of the Pops.

The album charted 5th on the dance/electronic Billboard chart All the Rage!!, Evolution, & Clubbed To Death (2010–2012). Even before the duo's third album was released, recording began for Blood on the Dance Floor's fourth album. The duo collaborated with several artists for the album, including Gods Paparazzi, KatiKaine, Rusty Lixx, James Egbert, Lady Nogrady, JJ Demon, and Nick Nasty. Once again the album was preceded by several singles to promote the release. Not long after they also announced their new EP Bitchcraft which was set to be released late winter with a single being released in February.

Listen to albums and songs from Blood On The Dance Floor. Despite borrowing their name from a Michael Jackson album, the King of Pop is one of the few influences that doesn't turn up in their music. Their shtick is a mixture of '80s hair metal and Twittering Kanye. Von Monroe and former member Garrett Ecstasy are openly gay, while Vanity's sexual identity remains ambiguous; their songs, like "Sexting" and "Well Suck Me," range from the obsessively oversexed to the openly misogynist. Beneath the fright wigs, tattoos, makeup and colored contacts, Blood on the Dance Floor are just your average Orlando scene kids raised on the Internet - call it adolescence . Like Brokencyde, the duo of Dahvie Vanity and Jayy Von Monroe mixes elements from screamo, trance, crunk and new wave.
