Shakin' Stevens announces his long-awaited return - to tour Europe for the first time in more than three decades. From the 7th February 2019, Shaky will be performing a 32 date tour, starting in the Netherlands, and then on to Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland, before returning to the UK for the final part of the tour.

On 16 September 2016 Stevens released his 12th studio album, Echoes of Our Times. The album was recorded at Berry Hill Studios, produced by Stevens and John David, who also engineered He performed a concert in Sri Lanka in October 2018, his first show in Asia. That same year, he announced he would be embarking on a new tour of the UK and Europe in early 2019.

Shakin' Stevens is back with a new album, with a difference. It's country/folk, with a bluesy feel to this new style of music. The album has excellent sound production, ten tracks, of which seven have been written by Shaky himself. Shaky recently did his family tree and history, so all the songs are about members of his family, so the album is very personal to him. I cannot fault the album at all. If i were to, it would be that there is no picture of Shaky on the artwork!

Kicking off on April 15 in Carlisle, the trek passes through 33 towns and cities, including Salford, Southend, Dartford, Watford, Cardiff, Bath, Ipswich, Tunbridge Wells, London, Blackpool, Norwich, Truro, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Glasgow, Inverness, Birmingham and more, winding up on May 28 in Hastings.
