No Easy Walk to Freedom is a 1986 studio album by American folk music trio Peter, Paul and Mary. Its release coincided with the group's 25th anniversary. Produced by John McClure and Peter Yarrow, the album was nominated in the Best Contemporary Folk Album category at the 29th Annual Grammy Awards. Without a label, Peter, Paul and Mary signed with Gold Castle Records to record No Easy Walk to Freedom. Released in 1986, it marked the trio's 25th anniversary.

Greenwood" has wonderful music to accompany Peter, Paul & Mary as they sing this poignant song; and the album ends with a very upbeat, positive song about triumph over oppression, "Light One Candle. Although this is a song about Hanukkah, the "light" could easily be a reference to a ray of hope for any oppressed group "Light One Candle" is an excellent way to end the album. Peter, Paul & Mary gave us a wonderful album with this release; and it's a must have for their fans.
