The new album showed Rhapsody in a whole new light, with a more aggressive style and sped-up tempo. Luca Turilli concentrated on his solo albums, Fabio Lione collaborated with Vision Divine and Kamelot, Alex Holzwarth collaborated with his brother Oliver, and Staropoli also announced his plans to record a solo album. In late 2009 Limb Music re-released their back-catalogue from 1997 to 2001, along with the compilation album Tales from the Emerald Sword Saga on digital music stores. Rhapsody of Fire at the Agglutination Metal Festival 2012. Rhapsody of Fire's eighth studio album, From Chaos to Eternity, was released on July 12, 2011. From Chaos to Eternity is the final album in the band's fantasy storyline, The Algalord Chronicles, which began with the release of Legendary Tales.

The band’s debut album Vision Divine (1999) immediately became a huge hit, selling over 10. 00 units in Europe. Thanks to the success of the self-titled debut as well as their 2nd album Send Me An Angel (2001) Vision Divine has been the first Italian heavy metal band to headline sold-out concerts in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Panama and Mexico. Right in the middle of writing their 3rd studio album, singer Fabio Lione was forced to leave the band due to contractual issues with Rhapsody and was replaced by talented and highly skilled Michele Luppi.
VISION DIVINE was born in 1998, originally intended as Olaf Thorsen's solo project (Labyrinth's guitarist at that time).
Italian power/progressive metallers VISION DIVINE, founded by Olaf Thorsen (LABYRINTH) and singer Fabio Lione (RHAPSODY OF FIRE), will release their seventh studio album, "Destination Set To Nowhere", on September 14 via Germany's earMUSIC, the Hamburg, Germany-based rock branch of Edel Group. Destination Set To Nowhere" is a melting pot, a perfect mix of all the styles the band has crossed and experimented with over the years. The second album of Vision Divine Send me an angel was released in January 2002. Lione composed eight vocal lines for this album. Their expressions became more serious and deeper, close to the reality of divinity and humanity with progressive and heavy sounds. The album Beto Vazquez Infinity was released in February, including the song "The battle of the Past" in which Lione was singing as a guest vocalist for the Beto Vazquez project. In 2003 Lione sang at shows with Vision Divine at Gods of Metal 2003 (Milan) and at Heineken Jammin' Festival (Imola) in June
