Preceded by the singles "I Want to Be a Cowboy's Sweetheart" and "Somewhere Between", the album reached number 41 on the Billboard Top Country Albums during its 37-week chart stay. The album's third single "Cross My Broken Heart" peaked at number 14 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs.

Somewhere in the Between is the third studio album by American ska punk band Streetlight Manifesto. On August 23, 2007, the group revealed the name of their next album: Somewhere in the Between. We Will Fall Together" and "Down, Down, Down to Mephisto's Cafe" were released as a double A-side single in October, 2007, prior to the album's release.

The Bankesters lineup of alist Emily Bankester, vocalist Alysha Bankester, bassist/vocalist Melissa Triplett, banjoist Kyle Triplett (he's married to Melissa), guitarist Phil Bankester, and Dorene Bankester coalesced in the late 2000s. The group released three independent records - Amen, There's a Higher Power, Somewhere in Between, Sure as the Sun - before signing to Compass for 2012's Looking Forward. The album gained some attention - the International Bluegrass Music Awards nominated Emily as Momentum Vocalist of the Year - setting.
